It is my privilege to serve the American Baptist Churches of Indiana and Kentucky as the associate executive minister and minister of mission support. In this role I have the opportunity through preaching, teaching, workshops, seminars, and meeting with local church boards and committees to help interpret American Baptist mission as carried out through our region, International Ministries, National Ministries, and the Office of the General Secretary.
Another portion of my work involves biblical stewardship. While stewardship is an issue of Christian discipleship and involves the whole of life, my focus is often on the needs of the congregation as they pertain to finances. We have a wide variety of excellent stewardship resources that can be used in our churches designed to enhance and bring life to the issues surrounding financial stewardship.
I want to encourage congregations to call me when they believe there are things we can do together as they seek to be faithful followers in God’s mission here and throughout the world.
