Join us for the 2024 ABC-IN/KY Region Biennial (Sept. 27-28, hosted by Muncie FBC) – Attend one or both days, entirely up to you! Registration is flexible —and affordable!

This important time of being TOGETHER consists of worship, training, a few recognitions, a very brief business session and several shared meals. Related organizations also will be present for the usual Ministry Fair displays open during breaks.

Featured presenters from Fresh Expressions will bring helpful, practical information for local churches which you won’t want to miss!

Additional Points of Note:

1. We chose not to do a mass mailing this year so that we could use those funds to scholarship our young and distinguished guests. Ages 25 and under and 80+ may receive a scholarship for the 2024 event! Mark your registration form accordingly if you fall into one of those age categories.
2. If you would prefer to receive a paper copy of the registration, find it at the top left of the electronic brochure linked on this webpage, or contact Wendy at the Region Office and she can mail one to you.
3. If making overnight accommodations, there are a number of hotels located throughout Muncie. (NOTE: There is NO convention hotel and NO group block or discounts. In other words, you will need to make and pay for your own overnight arrangements using the various travel apps or hotel websites available or by contacting your hotel of choice directly.)

IMPORTANT:  Every Region church is encouraged to designate their church’s appropriate number of delegates for attending this event (and, more specifically, for voting purposes). If you have been designated as one of your church’s delegates, be sure to indicate your role in the specific fields on the registration form (once it is available~) where that designation is sought.

A WORD ABOUT VOTING

Only those persons who register as delegates will be allowed to vote.

WHO MAY SERVE AS A DELEGATE?

ARTICLE V, Section 4 of the current bylaws states the following concerning delegates:

Each cooperating church of the Region shall be entitled to appoint three (3) persons plus an additional person for each fifty (50) resident members of the congregation to serve as delegates to the Region Biennial meeting.

4.1 The voting members from a Cooperating member church which chooses to relate only to the Region, but not to ABC-USA, shall have full voting privileges except they may not vote on matters relating to the “Covenant of Relationship” between the Region and ABC-USA or the election of ABC-USA General Board members. These voting privileges and restrictions shall also apply to Region Board members.
