Listed below are brief explanations of several Region ministries:
REGION OFFERING – The Region Offering makes possible everything we do in pursuing our three priorities of equipping leaders, empowering churches, and expanding mission –shared worship experiences, recognitions and continued learning like M28 (before that Church Leadership Institute), Nehemiah Leaders, and Healthy Boundaries; pastor gatherings, retreats and regularly scheduled Zoom calls; Region staff members working with churches during times of pastoral transition; camps, retreats and other conferences (like Region Biennial gatherings); mission trip opportunities; ongoing Region-wide communications through Observations (semi-monthly e-news) and The Baptist Observer (printed quarterly), etc.
THE MINISTERIAL EXCELLENCE SUSTAINING FUND – The Ministerial Excellence Fund (MEF) was initially funded by a generous grant from the Lilly Endowment, Inc. to assist in alleviating clergy financial pressures. The MEF Sustaining Fund was established to continue that ministry well into the future.
