We seek to fulfill the saving, healing, liberating work of Christ; therefore, our mission as the American Baptist Churches of IN/KY is to glorify God and unite our churches in carrying out ministries which flow from our response to the word of God and the Lordship of Jesus Christ. (Ephesians 2:16; Acts 1:8; John 17:21; Matthew 28:19-20; Luke 4:18-22 )

Region Board:  Policy-making and envisioning done on behalf of the the ABC-IN/KY Region follows the Region Board structure. Local Churches:  In accordance with Baptist polity, local churches are autonomous and follow their own policy-making and envisioning. Geographic Areas:  ABC-IN/KY is organized into three geographic areas (North, Southwest and Southeast) for the purpose of responding to programming, training and pastoral search needs of the local church. The intent of the area structure is to focus the resources of the Region, associations and constituent churches in order to help strengthen local churches and their ministries. Region Ministers:  Employed by ABC-IN/KY, Region Ministers support all congregations and professional church leaders in their ongoing tasks, but they concentrate on assisting churches and leaders located in their respective geographic areas (where the Region Ministers not only serve but also live).
