Training for Local Church Leaders
This FREE training opportunity is designed to help experienced and prospective church leaders understand the role of the deacon. Based on the model of servant leadership, the training will cover Biblical foundations and qualifications of those who are called to serve, and how deacons support the ministry of the pastor and the church. Though this training is aimed at the role of the deacon, it is relevant for anyone who presently serves or aspires to serve and lead in any capacity in the church.

When we offered this in northern Indiana recently, we had some churches just send one deacon and bring back the info to the rest of the deacons. We also had all deacons from a church show up, or even just the pastor. So, if your pastor can’t attend, but would like for someone from your deacons, or all your deacons to do so, please send them!
