Over 44 years of ministry, Mark Spencer has served three churches in Indiana, Denver BC, FBC of Scottsburg, and FBC of Rochester, IN. He retired from FBC of Rochester in 2022 after 27 years of ministry there. During the summer of 2022, after he retired, he served as a substitute Region Minister for Dr. Cochran during his sabbatical.
He has been married to Rinda for 10 years and has three adult children and 10 grandchildren, as well as two stepchildren and two step grandchildren. His first wife passed away from ALS in 2010. He enjoys gardening, the wellness center, reading, and hiking. He also is serving as a Workforce Chaplain. He visits two nursing homes and enjoys encouraging, praying for, and listening to the members of the workforce (nurses, cna’s, management persons, etc.).
Mark works primarily with churches in the northwest part of the Region, including the following Associations: Logansport, Monticello, Northwestern, and Tippecanoe.
