John Dunlap

John was born in Indianapolis, has three siblings and attended Perry Meridian High School.  After high school, he attended IUPUI for 6 ½ years and obtained his BS degree in accounting.  One of the best accomplishments of his “6½ year plan” was that he paid as he went and only was left with $1,100 in debt upon completion of his degree.  He maintained full-time accounting employment during that time and for most of his adult life to date, but he also had a lawn/landscape company from 1992 to 2018.

He met his wife Marti in 1995, and the couple married in 1996.   They have two grown sons, Dustin and Logan, and live in Mooresville, IN.   John enjoys family and woodworking and can be found in his barn [wood shop] the majority of his “free” weekends.  His entire family is saved and loves Jesus!  His life verse is Colossians 3:17, and John says he strives everyday to be a better person and “someone that Christ would hang a picture of on his refrigerator,” provided Christ actually had a refrigerator (?).
